My Rotary Story.

Where do I even begin.
Sooooo, it was the year 2016 when I attended my first meeting in J-13
ð. Same year September I was inducted and same year November 11th I was voted in as secretary of the awesome club of MMU 
ðð―.
It was scary I must admit cz I was like "what am I supposed to do with all these rich cool kids"
ðĪĢ
That was the perception I had of the club till I got to hang out with them more. Nyakundi Mauya, Sharon Lusambili Samuel Gathaga, Emmanuel Otieno Brenda Nebert's Khalifa Kevin Ochari Fredrick Husna Ismail and Davies Ombasaall made it worth while. Amazing people they are truly.

My first Sunshine Rally in 2017 blew my mind and I for sure knew that a Rotaractor is what I should be. Then came DCA which was one of my biggest highlights of that year. I had so much fun I can still picture every single moment of it. RYLA in Nanyuki was phenomenal. Like how does one even get over it
ð.
2017 still, I became PR director of my club and also is the year I joined the Rotaract Kenya Peace Campaign.
I was also called upon to be in the 2018 DCA organizing committee. Truly truly an honour that was. Did I mention I used to write articles to The Rotaractor Magazine?ðĪĢ. Well I used to. Hadi I started feeling ni kama mimi sasa ni ule msee, writer mbaya 
ð. Wooii.
Sooooo, 2018 started well, Sunshine Rally
☀, DCA all came and went ðĪĢ.(And RAC MMU got an award in DCA. 
ð )
But another great thing happened, some friends and I got together and formed RAC Lang'ata.ðð―ðð―. That is the coolest club in town BTW (MMU msinimeze 
ð
).
The same club hosted my Roast na hapo ndio nilijua sijui
ð. Yani people were so brutal gosh. 
ðĪĶð―♀. Lakini ni sawa tu. Of importance is life ð. I shall revenge tu 
ð

With the new Rotary year 2018/2019 came a new Country Chair Samuel Samuel M. Karanja mwenyewe, who chose me to be his secretary (I still don't know why 
ð). But I hope I don't disappoint 
ðĪŠ. Looking forward to an exciting year ahead.

Long story short, I love Rotary and Rotaract because everyone knows why they are in it and therefore no one is under pressure to be something else. We all live as a family and one is welcome to every event and activities held by different clubs. We are all bound together by the 4 Way test and Rotary objectives and goals.
Once you join you just start wondering what you were doing beforeðĪĢ.
Yes we do have ups amd downs but we alwuas get through them because we are not perfect, we are human.ð
Rotaractors have been my biggest customers for Acharis and Mabuyus (My side hustle
ð) so be sure that your business will boom as well 
ð.
